Random Happenings

So I was talking to my Aunt Shelley on the phone the other night and she requested another blog.  So I'll just update you on my life a little bit!

So some of my best girlfriends threw me a Bridal Shower about a week ago! It was so much fun to get together with all my high school friends and friends that I've made in the few years since then.  We just hung out, ate yummy food and opened lots of fun presents :) Everyone was so generous and it was just perfect! I got a few Victoria Secret gift cards as well and after all was done I think I ended up with over 10 VS bags. So I'm set! ha Thanks ladies!

Scottie left on a boys trip to Mexico at the beginning of this week and it has been SO weird not to see him, or even really talk to him (since he has no service) I miss him so much and I am just so bored all the time! We haven't gone this long without talking ever since we started dating! Even when we broke up we'd talk almost every day! haha So this is new for me and I don't like it.  But only 2 more days! All of us fiance's and wives (me, Christina, Diana & Lyndsi) got together on Sunday for dinner and just some girl time while our boys are gone.  So that was fun, and Diana made us the yummiest dinner! I have also got to spend a lot of good time with my family.  I hardly ever saw them before, even living at home! So I think they are grateful to get a week with me. ha Me and my little sister Renae have had some fun girl time and a little slumber party movie night in my bed a few nights ago.  Little sisters are amazing. I'm definitely making more sister time even once I'm a wife! :) And me and my mom and Renae went on a little shopping trip and out for Jamba Juice one night as well. So my family's done a good job at keeping me occupied while Scottie is gone!


I have been on the continual hunt for an apartment this week.  I found the PERFECT apartment in Orem.  Perfect price, brand new paint and carpet, great location, etc. But of course Scottie was out of town... I applied for it anyway but since the landlord didn't have any of Scottie's signatures, and wasn't patient enough to wait until Saturday we lost it :( I am so sad but hoping something better comes along.


Wedding planning is coming along great! We had an amazing invitation designer.  If anyone needs someone for anything like that I would highly recommend her! Look up pleatedpress.com Her name is Natalie and she did such a good job! We will be ordering and sending out the announcements in the next few weeks! Got my dress and we got his suit and there's really not much left to do! Wedding day is creeping up slowly! 50 more days till I'm Mrs. Wilson! YAY! Here are a few pictures from the week...
